The Triplona marketplace model
Triplona is a marketplace that connects travellers with independent, verified providers. That distinction matters — legally, operationally and for the trust travellers place in every booking.
What Triplona is not
Not a travel agency
We do not sell packaged holidays, hold IATA accreditation as an agent, or act as your tour operator. Independent travel agents can list on Triplona, but the agent — not Triplona — is your service provider.
Not a booking intermediary
We do not collect payment on behalf of providers, hold deposits, or issue invoices for their services. Payment flows directly between traveller and provider.
Not a warranty provider
Providers set their own cancellation, refund and service terms. Triplona mediates disputes but does not guarantee delivery, insure your booking or replace consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction.

Legal summary
Contracts for stays, rides, dining, hire, media, experiences, events and agent services are formed directly between the traveller and the independent provider. Triplona International Limited provides the marketplace, verification and dispute mediation described in our Terms — but is not a party to those service contracts.
